A List—Of Best Foods to Eat For Bodybuilding

People are always looking for the best way to do things, so I figured I would write up a list of the best foods for bodybuilding.

Ready.

1.

Foods that you will actually eat.

2.

Go back to number one.

O.K.

So it was not much of a list, but my point is so many bodybuilders think they have to eat CERTAIN foods—that they do even if they do not like them.

I will use myself as an example.

I do not like oatmeal.

Period.

I do not care how good it is for me, I do not like it.

I will gladly eat broccoli and most vegetables but I will not eat oatmeal.

Actually, the above can be applied to dieting as well—the foods recommended on some diets might work great, but if the dieter does not like them, what do you think the chances are of said dieter staying on the diet.

Not very good.

Right?

A CONTRADICTION

While I feel bodybuilders and dieters should center meals around foods they like (or at least will actually eat) I will contradict myself at bit here.

We all tend to pick only a handful of foods.

And then we eat them over and over and yes over again.

Try—as hard as it is—to expand your food choices.

This serves two purposes.

First, it will help prevent you from burning out on certain foods.

And second it will also introduce a wider range on healthy compounds into your body.

Which can over time help keep you healthier.

So instead of sticking with green peppers for example, try red, or instead of yams, try sweet potatoes.

Yes, these are not major changes but they still will help.

CONCLUSION

Variety is not just important in the gym, it is also important at mealtimes too.

Try adding in a little variety to your diet.

Your taste buds will thank you.

And chances are, so will your muscles.

THINK VARIETY
